We collect from home at a time that allows for traffic, take you to the correct entrance rather than the main gate, and are back in position when you are finished. For procedures where you are told in advance that you cannot drive yourself home, the return leg is arranged on the same booking. If the appointment overruns, we wait. Nobody is left calling for a ride from a waiting room.
We serve the major medical centres across both counties, including Cedars-Sinai, UCLA Health, Keck Medicine of USC, City of Hope, Providence facilities across Los Angeles, Hoag in Newport Beach and Irvine, UCI Medical Center in Orange, Providence St. Joseph, MemorialCare Long Beach and the Kaiser Permanente centres in both counties, along with the smaller surgical centres, imaging clinics and specialist offices in between. Large hospital campuses are the ones where an arrival goes wrong, so our chauffeurs confirm the building and the entrance before the day rather than circling on it.
A course of treatment means the same trip on the same days for weeks or months. These can be set up as a standing booking so the car simply arrives without a call each time, and where the schedule allows we keep the same chauffeur on the run. On a long course, arriving to a familiar face and a familiar car is worth more than it sounds.
Much of this work is booked not by the patient but by an adult child, a spouse or a family member coordinating from another city. Arranging the transport removes a recurring half day from someone's week without removing the reliability. We confirm each completed trip to whoever made the booking, so a family member who could not be there knows the appointment was reached and the journey home was made.
The ride home after a procedure needs a calm car and an unhurried chauffeur, not a rushed one. Discharge times move constantly, so tell us the estimate and we will hold the vehicle rather than book against a firm time. A companion travelling with you is welcome and there is no additional charge for a second passenger.
Executive sedans suit a patient travelling alone or with one companion. Full size SUVs suit a family group of up to six, and the higher seat makes getting in and out considerably easier for older passengers, which is often the deciding factor. Cabins are cleaned between every trip and climate controlled before pickup. Our chauffeurs will assist at the door, carry bags and walk with you to the entrance where that helps.
Our chauffeurs are employed, vetted and licensed professionals, and on these bookings the qualities that matter are punctuality, patience and discretion. Nothing about your appointment, your destination or your condition is discussed, recorded or repeated. The vehicle is a private space and stays one.
This is chauffeured passenger transport, not medical transport. Our chauffeurs are not medical personnel, the vehicles carry no medical equipment, and we cannot transport a passenger who requires clinical care, monitoring or supervision during the journey, or who cannot travel seated in a standard passenger vehicle. Our vehicles are not wheelchair accessible; a folding wheelchair or walker travels in the vehicle without difficulty, and we are glad to assist with it. For anything requiring medical support in transit, or in an emergency, please contact your provider or emergency services.
Every trip is quoted as a fixed rate before you travel, including the return, so there is no meter running while an appointment overruns. Bookings can be placed online for trips more than twenty four hours ahead, or call us and we will arrange it, including recurring appointments set up in one conversation.
